One of the reasons why Carolinas Coastal Construction Group is Brunswick County’s premier builder is that we do so much more than just build beautiful luxury homes. Our team of experienced custom home and business builders are with you every step of the way, from initial vision to land acquisition, design, completion and on-going maintenance for years to come.
What this means is that you shouldn’t wait to call us until you have complete architectural plans and a lot on which to build. The value we can provide multiplies if you bring us in from the start!
New Construction starts here! The first stage of building is an exciting one with several important milestones.
This is one of the most important stages of construction. All of our foundations are designed by a licensed professional engineer and are inspected by a technical representative of the engineer before and during concrete placement.
After the foundation is in place, the structure is ready to be framed, a process that normally takes one to two weeks.
Exterior Trim and Roof
This is sometimes referred to as the cornice/roof stage. Once it’s completed, the house is considered “dried in.
It can be difficult to see the progress that’s being made during this stage, but important work is going on inside the walls of your home.
This is an exciting stage. Finally, your project is beginning to look less like a construction project and more like a home or business.
The trim stage focuses on the fine carpentry details that finish a home.
Painting brings color and personality to your home. CCCG uses an upgraded premium paint designed for high humidity and mildew conditions.
Once the interior painting is finished, the mechanical details can be added.
Finally, many of the final details can be added to your home.
Grading and Landscaping
Once the interior of your home is complete, we focus on the outside. Then it’s time to transition the home over to you, its new owners.
CCCG’s expert services include:
Land & Lot Acquisition
We use our long standing relationships with local real estate professionals to help you find the perfect lot, and then be there to ensure the site really is perfect for your needs. To confirm that your desired project is feasible we’ll do everything from bringing in consultants (such as soil and pool engineers), to reviewing city restrictions, municipal easements and much more.
As a top custom home builder in Brunswick County we have also built strong working relationships with the area’s premier architects and interior designers. We’ll provide introductions, matching the best fit for your proposed style and needs. Once we are retained we will collaborate closely with your architect to create a custom home that fits within all of your desired function, design and cost parameters.
It’s the details that separate extraordinary new home construction from ordinary new home construction. Your Project Coordinator will create a comprehensive, all-inclusive Specifications Book cataloging every component of the project—plumbing fixtures, cabinets, appliances, finish carpentry, paint colors and more.
Budget & Schedule Development
Your Project Coordinator will obtain pricing based on your approved Specifications Book, and then confirm the overall budget for your project. Once the project permit has been issued you’ll receive a Decision Deadline Schedule. This keeps the process from becoming overwhelming, and allows the build schedule to remain on track.
One of the many advantages of working with a general contractor that has a large full-time staff is that it’s not just “one person trying to do everything.” Once things are underway our Operations Manager will track all aspects of scheduling, giving you the ability to see exactly where things stand. The Office Administrator will track all expenses and provide detailed monthly billings.
CCCG is a “white glove” home builder. We handle all aspects of construction, from serving as the point of contact for all subcontractors, consultants, vendors and city inspectors to resolving issues as they arise. Construction will be overseen by your Project Manager, who will be on site daily ensuring all work is done to specifications, using the highest quality building materials and techniques.
Our in-depth project close-out process includes a full inspection by an Independent Home Inspector. The Home inspector will then join you and your Project Manager and Custom Care Manager for a detailed walk-through to compile a final “punch list.” Upon move-in you will receive a Comprehensive Close-Out Package with copies of all contracts, invoices, releases, city documents, manuals and warranties, as well as photographic documentation of your project.
Your relationship with CCCG does not stop on your move-in day. You’ll enjoy a full-coverage warranty during the first year after your home’s completion followed by a ten-year structural warranty for years two through ten—plus the option to participate in our turnkey CCCG Care Program that takes home maintenance out of your hands and makes it worry-free.
